The BCA exists to promote development and use of the Bibliographic Classification (BC2).
It publishes official amendments via its annual Bliss Classification Bulletin, enables users to keep in touch and exchange experience,
and gives them a say in the future of the scheme. It is a nonprofit organisation, founded in 1967, with members all over the world.
